We totally understand if you don’t wish to spend 6 hours traveling to Berlin and prefer staying closer to the port and seeing the local small German towns. To be honest, they look much more authentic than cosmopolitan cities, so we invite you to immerse in the German culture and walk through Warnemuende and Rostock and fall in love with their charm.
We pick you up at your ship and take you to a lovely walk around Warnemuende. You see the historic center of the town and hear the story of this port. Then you board a local train or tram and head off to Rostock. This trip will be a real life experience for you, as you watch ordinary Germans passing by and doing their everyday business. In Rostock, you walk through the Old town and admire the views of the University and the Town Hall, see the remnants of the town walls and gates, enjoy the architecture of the monastery and take pictures of peculiar merchants’ houses. Then you visit St Marien’s church and look at its impressive interior. After the walk you have some free time in town for shopping or snack, and then your guide takes you back to the ship by the local transport.
