We will pick you up in the lobby of your hotel at the agreed time and take you straight to the very center of Moscow – the Red Square. This is the most important venue of the city, together with the Kremlin. You will have a chance to stroll over its cobble stones, see the view of the Kremlin walls with their world-famous towers and enjoy the view of the St Basil’s Cathedral – one of the best knows symbols of Russia. You will also see the Lenin’s tomb, which still attracts a lot of pilgrimage. Just opposite, the fairy-tale castle of GUM – State Department Store – is open for you, and you can take impressive photos from the outside and also have a look inside and see the interiors. Then you take a walk to the nearby Revolution square and the Alexandrovsky garden to visit the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier – the most important war memorial of the country. If you are lucky, you see the guards changing at the tomb, which is a great performance in itself. Then you get on your van and head off to Vorobyovy Gory – one of the seven hills where Moscow is built. Here is one of the best and the most famous viewpoints of the city, and the whole of Moscow will be just lying in front of you. Be careful, the panoramas are truly breathtaking! When you have enough of the incredible cityscapes, look back, and you will see a huge building with a spire touching the sky. This is one of the so-called “Stalin’s seven sisters” – seven skyscrapers around Moscow, which were built to show the power of the Soviet Empire. This one at the viewpoint now houses Moscow State University.
Your tour will end on Old Arbat street, which is a historic promenade with a lot of souvenir stalls, cafes and restaurants, street performances and other attractions. You take a walk along this street, and this will also be a great opportunity for lunch. You can just stay there, or ask your guide to bring you back to your hotel.
