St Petersburg was the capital of Russian Empire for about 200 years. You will go to Catherine’s Palace – one of the most luxurious gala residences of the Russian Tzars, full of gold and brilliance. You have a chance to walk through the Imperial halls and see the famous Amber Room, as well as hear the exciting story of its resurrection. You will then have some time for lunch, and then drive back to the downtown to see one of the most beautiful churches in the city: Savior on Spilled Blood. You will be astonished by the amount of sparkling mosaics both inside and outside the church and by its remarkable history. After that you will have a chance to make a shopping stop to buy some gifts, and our team will take you back to the ship.
