This tour is meant to be the most kids friendly. Usually the small ones get very tired of all the museums and palaces, so this program is specially designed to keep them interested and not too overwhelmed with facts and figures.
Please note that this tour is always individually created and quoted depending on the number and age of the children in the group. We are always thinking of customized solutions.
You will meet your guide after your visa-free disembarking and start the panoramic drive around the center of St Petersburg to hear the exciting stories of its history and make a few stops to take impressive photos. Then you drive to Peterhoff – the most luxurious Imperial residence, located near the city. On the way you have a chance to get down to metro and see the spectacular stations looking like underground palaces. Upon arrival you take a stroll around the park lanes,admire the fountains and green trees, and the kids will have a lot of fun playing with the trick fountains. You will have some time for a lunch or a picnic in the fresh air, and then catch the speed hydrofoil back to the downtown. Then you visit the Hermitage – the largest and the most stunning museum of Russia, located in the former winter residence of the emperors. You walk through the historic halls and see the most interesting and important art works. Then you can go back to the ship, or we can arrange some kind of evening activity, such as a ballet night, a folk show or a canal boat ride.
Your guide picks you up at the port terminal and takes you to the center of St Petersburg. You make a stop at St Isaac’s square and have a chance to take photos of St Isaac’s Cathedral – the impressive monumental structure and one of the largest cathedrals in Europe. Then you visit Savior on Spilled Blood – the most colorful church in the city, and hear its remarkable story. You proceed to one of the unique interactive museums – the Grand Maket of Russia, which is a model of the whole country, all moving and working. It will be great for both the kids and the adults! After that you will have an opportunity to grab a lunch or a snack, and then participate in a creative master-class to paint your own Matryoshka doll and bring home an unusual souvenir. You can also have a look at other local crafts and buy some gifts before you go back to the ship.
